This full length life size sculpture of Robert Baden-Powell, located on the Quay in Poole celebrates B-P's connections with the town of Poole. Situated near the departure point for ferries to Brownsea Island, the sculpture captures Baden-Powell in a seated position as though involved in a typical activity around the camp fire and looks out to where it all began - Brownsea Island. More information on this statue can be found Baden Powell Centenary Sculpture on Poole Quay website

Cannon Hill Memorial

Cannon Hill Memorial 1 Cannon Hill Memorial 2

At the entrance to Cannon Hill Park in Mosley, Birmingham there is a memorial to the local Scouts who lost their lives during World War I and II. Unfortunatley the Memorial is currently in some need of a bit of TLC, in the way that it is a bit grubby and it is difficult to read the inscription on it.
